New Bar Scene Emerges in Hoboken

Mar 30, 2017 Tara Geigel

You're feeling like you want to go out tonight with some friends, but you're from Jersey and not really feeling like making the big commitment of going to the city. Yeah, we understand you. Hoboken is a perfect place to go out to if you’re in that particular mood. Hoboken offers many fun bars, and a nice view of NYC near its waterfront. While you may often find yourself visiting the same couple of bars when you go out in Hoboken, you should definitely check out these three hot and new bars that have recently opened up in Hoboken:

Taphaus

Less than two months old, this bar has received raving reviews and is a must-go! They also have live music as opposed to a DJ or stereo, which is always a nice change. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a new place to check out. Check out their website for more information.

Northern Soul

If you’re looking for a bar that includes a food menu different from a typical bar, then this place is for you! The head chef put together a menu that’ll have you tell everyone you know. The bar is quite spacious and can accommodate big groups. They even have live music performances that you should definitely check out as well as a photo booth! Check them out here

Birch Hoboken

This bar opened last weekend and is already gaining traction. It doubles as both a restaurant and a nightclub. The food and cocktails are quite impressive and they offer milkshakes that rival Black Tap’s in NYC. At night, DJs come and spin amazing mixes that’ll make you have a good time! Check out their events here

New Jersey has a lot of offer and here at EventCombo, we’ll give you the latest updates on new nightclubs, fun events, or just about anything worth checking out!
